Who Me? Serve Others?
Dear Lord, I pray for wisdom for those who want to walk in the way of Jesus. In Jesus’ name, amen.
What does it mean when someone asks, “How is your walk with the Lord?” Answers vary, from “I am not exactly walking with the Lord at this point in my life.” to “By God’s grace, all is well with my soul as I continue to walk with Jesus.”
1 John 2:5-6 (ESV) proclaims:
“But whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.”
Jesus is the perfect role model. Consider how he washed the disciple’s feet. What a servant!
Believers and followers of Jesus can do well when they are intentional about walking with Jesus.
