The Double-Minded!

The Double-Minded!

Dear Lord, I pray for wisdom for those who love your law and meditate on it all the day. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Do you have any doubts about your faith or God’s faithfulness?

James 1:6-8 (ESV) says,

“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

In Psalm 119:113 (ESV) the psalmist does not sound double-minded.

“I hate the double-minded,
but I love your law.”

Are you double-minded? Unstable?

Don’t have doubts. Affirm your faith right now by reading and praying a short prayer at the end of following website: http://www.4laws.com/laws/englishkgp/default.htm.

Heart and Flesh Sing for Joy!

Heart and Flesh Sing for Joy!

Dear Lord, I pray for wisdom for those whose heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Imagine a group of believers singing for joy in church. In contrast, imagine a stadium filled with people singing along with the-latest-and-greatest popular, secular musicians. Both may make pleasant melodies, but those worshiping God have a spiritual component those in the secular stadium are missing.

In Psalm 84:1-4 9 (ESV) the psalmist says his heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.

“How lovely is your dwelling place,
O Lord of hosts!
My soul longs, yes, faints
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and flesh sing for joy
to the living God.

Even the sparrow finds a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may lay her young,
at your altars, O Lord of hosts,
my King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house,
ever singing your praise! Selah

Are you as dedicated as the psalmist? Does your heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God? Why? Or why not? Do you know the living God? If not, read The Four Spiritual Laws.
