How Is Your Walk?

How Is Your Walk?

I pray for wisdom for those who want to walk wisely. In Jesus’ name, amen.

What does it mean when a person asks a believer, “How is your walk?”

There are clues in Ephesians 5:15-17 (ESV) when it says: “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”

This verse is not about walking down the street. Rather, figuratively speaking, it is about how a person walks through life.

Are you making wise decisions? Do you have a sense of urgency? Are you putting faith into action? Look at where you are on your journey of faith.

Are you becoming foolish? If so, change right now, and walk in God-honoring wisdom.

Let me know what you think.

Losing Heart?

Losing Heart?

I pray for wisdom for those who are tempted to lose heart. In Jesus’ name, amen.

There are times in everyone’s life when it seems an objective is out of reach.

Circumstances intervene to prevent success.

When it seems impossible to fulfill a goal, especially when health issues intervene, people can lose heart and become discouraged.

Scripture tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (ESV): “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”

These verses gives us hope. Don’t give up. Be renewed day by day. Focus on the eternal.
