Mere Talk Tends Only to Poverty!
Dear Lord, I pray for wisdom for those who toil. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Have you ever heard the phrase, “Talk is cheap.”
One friend put it this way, “Big hat. No cattle.”
There are those who are all talk and no action.
Proverbs 14:23 (ESV) is about those who do the work and those who only talk.
“In all toil there is profit,
but mere talk tends only to poverty.”
Don’t look back on life and realize there were missed opportunities to work hard and profit. Many talk without ever applying themselves.
Make sure to take action. Do the work.
