Dear Lord, I pray for wisdom for those who extol, bless, and praise you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
David comes before God with a heart overflowing.
David sets the tone of Psalm 145:1-3 (ESV) when he says that the Lord’s greatness is unsearchable.
“I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever.
Every day I will bless you
and praise your name forever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
and his greatness is unsearchable.”
How long does David say he will give God praise? The answer is “forever and ever.” David was confident of his relationship with the Lord, and his eternal destiny. Are you? To be sure, read and pray the prayer at the end of the Four Spiritual Laws.
