Not Good Enough?

Not Good Enough?

Lord, I pray for wisdom for the people who feel unworthy to be called sons and daughters of the Great King. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Romans 10:13 (NIV) says, “for ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” We are not worthy because of anything we have done or ever could do. Rather, it is what Christ did on the cross that makes us worthy.

Don’t believe the world’s standards for good enough. God defines who you are in Scripture.

Seeking Personal Revival?

Seeking Personal Revival?

Lord, I pray for wisdom for people who want to turn away from their sin. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Some believers who have fallen from grace feel their sins are unforgiveable. Yet, the story of the prodigal son shows us an expectant father waiting for the lost son’s return.

Whatever we have done or said, God is waiting to welcome us back into fellowship with the body of believers. God can help those who want to change.

Procrastinating?

Procrastinating?

Dear Lord, I pray for wisdom for those who heard the word of truth, believed in Jesus, and were sealed with the promise of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, amen.

When the Scriptures say we believers are to run the race set before us, it does not say, “Let us be hesitant to start or wait until the last minute to undertake a task.” If a task is too big, break it into smaller tasks, and ask for wisdom along the way.

Hebrews 12:1 (NIV) says, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”

Let others procrastinate while you get on with the race.
