Blessed by the Hearing Ear and the Seeing Eye!
Dear Lord, I pray for wisdom for those who are blessed with hearing and sight. In Jesus name, amen.
In the fifth grade, a teacher asked, “Have you ever had your eyes checked.”
I said, “No.”
My first glasses changed everything. I could see, so I could read.
Proverbs 20:12 (ESV) is about who gives us our senses.
“The hearing ear and the seeing eye,
the Lord has made them both.”
Be thankful for your senses. Take time to marvel at what the Lord has done by giving the gift of hearing and sight.
Do not overlook the idea that the Lord can use our hearing ears and our seeing eyes to allow us to learn more about him.
