Are You Ready for the Day of Battle?
Dear Lord, I pray for wisdom for those who prepare for the day of battle. In Jesus’s name, amen.
The Bible is filled with stories of war.
Before any battle, a warrior had to be prepared.
Proverbs 21:31 (ESV) helps us see clearly who is in control.
“The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
but the victory belongs to the Lord.”
No matter how brilliantly a horseman may fight, it is not his to claim credit for a battlefield victory. Do you ever try to take credit for victories in your life?
Remember this proverb. The victory belongs to the Lord.
