Acceptable to God?
Dear Lord, I pray for wisdom for those want the words of their mouth and the meditation of their heart to be acceptable to God. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Over the last several decades, language on television and in other media has noticeably become more profane. Unfortunately, even the faithful stumble in this area. Psalm 19:14 (ESV) is a familiar verse that can be used to turn away from the filthy language and other sin. It will prepare a person to be in God’s presence.
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.”
Think deeply about this verse. It is a fitting prayer. Will you take time to pray right now?
